Finally got to see this movie. I have to say that it was a really good movie and it was incredibly thought provoking.

The movie is really about how though we are in the computer age and there are 10 million ways to communicate with one another, there is a lack of connection with each other and that makes us completely indifferent to one another. The movie is about four stories that intertwine and they continously connect with each other but no one is aware of how.

Alex plays a man who is a veteran of the war and he is working in a job he hates and he is married to a woman who has become a complete stranger to him, more so since the death of their baby. Their identities are hacked and their money is stolen and when they can't get any help from the police, they hire a private investigator whose son is participating in a nasty little bit of cyber bullying by creating a false identity and trolling a classmate who thinks he is talking to a girl who likes him. When the "girl" sends him a sexy pic of herself, he returns the gesture and the cyber bullies spread it around to his school, he tries to kill himself. His dad, an attorney who handles legal work for a tv station goes out to try to find out what the hell happened. The tv station has a reporter who tracks down a cyber porn site where cyber sex workers are being exploited because of their youth. When she befriends a sex worker, she is put into a situation where she finds out she is really no better than the cyber pimp who was using the kids.

While there are no hard and fast conclusions, the things they all learn is the face behind the screen are real people and to forget that is a disaster waiting to happen. There are no hard and fast happily ever afters and there is the lingering question of how we became so...well...disconnected.

Give this seriously under rated film a look see. I think you will like it.
