Re: Beautiful Creatures (film)
Sad to say, this movie was in trouble from the beginning. There was never enough to construct the story and there were pieces that were from the other books that did not belong in the first movie and the characters are never fully fledged. I know I should not be a hardline bookie, but this was terribly done and I hoped for so much from a YA paranormal romance written from the boy's point of view.
The actors who played Ethan and Lena were unknown and they did not seem too comfortable with their characters and the wonderful workings of Jeremy Irons and Viola Davis was underdeveloped and finally lost....
Read the books, don't buy into this ersatz movie
