I was raised by this whole community of artists. It was pretty wild. Illegal substances floating around. People were drunk. I was born in the late ’70s. There was so much love there.

Humans are animals ... and like other animals we struggle between instinct and rationality. Of course I believe we’ve evolved, but I think it’d be naïve to claim we’re nothing like the rest of the animals with whom we share the planet.

9. He likes to sing while he's driving:

You know what it is, you’re in you’re car and you just sing along and someone starts, and you just, you know ... if you know every 10th word that’s it, you know. That’s good enough. You just hum, you know?
